device repair update

Due to the school closure extension for the rest of the 2019-2020 school year, we have adjusted our Chromebook repair procedures to allow students to continue to receive repair services at home.  For the remainder of the school year, families can drop off their device with a completed repair form at the District Office or hand their device and repair form to food service delivery personnel.  Your device will be received by our repair technicians and serviced within 3 business days or sooner.  The repaired device can be picked up at the district office or sent back with food service personnel and delivered to your home.  Please note that pickup and delivery are currently only available for Stevinson students.

To turn in your device for repair, please fill out & submit the

HUSD Student Device Incident Report.


Located on the Hilmar High School homepage, then bring your laptop into the tech office inside the library. 


The information from this form will be used by staff to process your repair and to assign you a loaner device.


Unless instructed by a teacher to do so, students should bring the device in before or after school or during lunch only. We are not able to process students between classes.


NOTE: Do not, under any circumstance, try to repair the device yourself or take to any outside source.


Reporting an unexpected move or Stolen Device

In accordance with the HUSD policy statement, stolen devices or an unexpected move outside of the district must be reported immediately to one of the school site contacts listed below.

In addition, you must file a report with your local police department or by calling Liberty Security to file an incident report.
