HHS Site Procedures


To turn in your device for repair first, fill out & submit the “Student Device Incident Report.” Then bring your laptop into the tech office inside the library.  The information from this form will be used by our staff to process your repair and to assign you a loaner device.

Unless instructed by a teacher to do so, students should bring the device in before or after school or during lunch only. We are not able to process students between classes.

NOTE: Do not, under any circumstance, try to repair the device yourself or take to any outside source.


Reporting an unexpected move or Stolen Device

In accordance with the HUSD policy statement, stolen devices or an unexpected move outside of the district must be reported immediately to one of the school site contacts listed below. If no one is available, please leave a message, and we will return your call as soon as possible to arrange for you to turn in district materials.


If your district issued device is stolen you must contact one of
sources below and in addition, file a report with your local police department or by calling Liberty Security to file an incident report.

Hilmar school district provides district insurance making our devices self-insured.

Please read the HUSD Student Device Protection Policy for coverage information.

If you have previously purchased coverage from Worth Ave Group please note that your coverage will not change and we are still processing damaged devices for you.
