Social-Emotional Support
High school can bring academic pressure, changing relationships, big decisions, and new challenges. Our counselors are here to support students as they navigate these experiences and work toward their personal, academic, and future goals.
Students are encouraged to reach out to their counselor when they are feeling overwhelmed, experiencing challenges at school or home, having difficulty managing stress, or simply need someone to talk to. Counselors can provide a listening ear, help students identify strategies and resources, and connect students and families with additional support when needed.
For students who need more specialized or ongoing support than a school counselor can provide, our school also has access to a Wellness Support Team. This team can provide additional resources, support, and connections to appropriate services to help students feel supported and successful at school.
You don't have to figure it all out alone. We're here to help. Please contact your child’s counselor for more support.
