Important Notice Regarding Chromebook Misuse

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We want to make you aware of a troubling new trend circulating on social media platforms such as TikTok, where students are intentionally damaging school-issued Chromebooks. This includes inserting foreign objects into ports, which can cause the device to smoke or malfunction, as well as other forms of deliberate destruction.

Please talk to your student about the seriousness of this behavior. Any student found intentionally damaging a Chromebook will be subject to disciplinary action in accordance with our school policies and will also be held financially responsible for the cost of repairs or replacement.
