Pathways at Hilmar High School

Merced County Schools offers various course pathways within thirteen (13) CTE Industry Sectors.
Pathways are made up of introductory, concentration, and capstone courses.

Introductory courses give students an overview and foundation in industry sector pathways.
Concentration courses provide in-depth instruction and exploration of specific industry sectors.
Capstone courses provide a rigorous and intensive culmination of a course of study.

All CTE courses, but especially capstone courses, provide students the opportunity to learn, practice and apply the industry skills needed for career success after high school.
