Welcome Back, Yellowjackets!

We are excited to welcome our students and families to the 2026–2027 school year! We are ready for a year filled with learning, growth, connection, and Yellowjacket pride.
Thank you for partnering with us as we make this a great year for every student. Let’s make it a great one, together! Go Jackets!
Ms. Kelly

Focus on Learning and Growing

Thank you for your continued partnership and support of your young Yellowjacket as we begin the school year.
Please note a correction to yesterday’s ParentSquare message: the lunch schedule was listed incorrectly. The updated 2026–2027 daily schedule is attached.
To ensure every student has dedicated time and resources to succeed, Jacket Time is held every Tuesday and Thursday. Students select their Jacket Time session in advance, so we encourage you to ask your student each Monday and Wednesday which session they have chosen.
This is also a great time to review grades together in Aeries. If your student is struggling in a class, has missed class, or needs additional support, encourage them to choose a Jacket Time session that provides the help they need rather than an enrichment activity.
Finally, try asking your student, “What are you learning in your classes right now?” instead of “What did you do today?” This simple question encourages students to reflect on their learning and progress.
Thank you for partnering with us to support our Yellowjackets! 💚💛

Counseling Corner

To provide greater consistency and support throughout high school, our counselors will now be assigned to students by last name rather than by grade level, allowing them to work with the same counselor all four years. To schedule an appointment at any time during the school year, students and parents can simply scan the QR code under their assigned counselor. Students and parents are also always welcome to reach out directly by phone or email.
