Credit Recovery Options

Every student’s academic journey is unique. Parents and students are encouraged to meet with their school counselor to review their individual credit situation, graduation requirements, and educational goals. Together, we can determine the best placement and support plan to help each student make meaningful progress and achieve success.

Jacket Time Credit Recovery

Students who are 1-2 classes behind can utilize our Jacket Time Credit Recovery to catch up on credits through an online curriculum, Edmentum.

A.C.E. Class

Students who have more than two classes to make up may be appropriate to utilize our A.C.E. (Accelerated Concurrent Enrollment) class. A.C.E. is a class built into the student's schedule where they work on courses that they need to make up within an online curriculum, Edmentum. Use of online curriculum through e-learning primarily serves the purpose of credit recovery.

Hilmar Continuation High School

Hilmar Continuation High School provides a smaller, more flexible learning environment for students who may benefit from a different educational setting. With individualized support, flexible scheduling, and opportunities to recover credits, students can get back on track to earn their high school diploma and prepare for life after graduation. For some students, continuation school can provide the fresh start and support they need to succeed.
